The Human Robot

The humanoid robot, called Atlas, who was created by Alphabet company Boston Dynamics, has just gotten a huge update. The new Atlas is five foot and 9 inches and weighs 180 pounds, and is 7 inches shorter and 120 pounds lighter than the old Atlas. It is also mobile, while the old Atlas was connected to computers. The Atlas has sensors in its body and legs to keep it balanced. It also has lasers in its head to sense and avoid objects, move, and move objects.

I chose this article because I thought it was interesting how Boston Dynamics was making robots even more advanced. I thought this article was interesting because it explains the new update of Atlas and how it senses and moves.
