Do You Know Why There Is A Leap Year?

This was a very interesting article about Leap Year! We skip one day in one month in four years. It is said that we have 365 days in a year, but scientist prove that we have 365 ¼ in a year. (actually 365.24219 days) This means the sun orbits around the earth for about 365 ¼ days. Julius Caesar, saw what was going on with the days, so she started to adding an extra day every four years. There was a little disturbance in the Julius calendar when the calendar added up to 10 days. Pope Gregory Xiii made a new calendar, the Gregorian calendar. Then made February 29th the official date for Leap Year.

In the blog I read, I wouldn't like to be born on February 29th. I wonder what happens on their birthday? I would hate to be born on February 29th because every four years, you’ll have to change the date you celebrate or not celebrate at all.
