Cyber attacks: when your workers work against you
As cyber attacks get more sophisticated, there is still no end in sight, says Dr. Guy Bunker, an expert from cyber security firm Clearswift. He says that its no longer about small things like documents or web history. Car designs, fashion secrets, virtual reality passcodes, they all have a value to someone, so they are all at risk.
58% of attacks come from within the extended enterprise and the companies themselves. The people who hold your passcodes are most likely to break them. Really, this could be easily prevented if the employees were observed when working so that there was no way a hack could escape the employer’s view.
I found this topic interesting because it poses a real threat, and I don’t like much technology besides gaming and programming, so this is new and interesting- though not actually ‘new.’
